We are America and we do not hate Muslims

نحن أمريكيون ونريد أن نقول للعالم إننا نقبل ونحب مسلمين مثل أي أشخاص آخرى. الأشياء التي تشاهدون في الأخبار لا تمثل أمريكا الحقيقية. لا نوافق مع الفيديوهات اللتي تسخر على دينكم. في أمريكا، نحترم كل الناس من كل الأديان. هذا بسيط. نريد مستقبل مع الحب والإحترام والحرية لكلنا.

We are Americans and we want to tell the world that we accept and love Muslim people just like anyone else.

The messages of hate that you see in the media are not the real America. We do not agree with making videos to mock your religion. In America, we respect people of all religions. Its that simple.

Here's to a future of love, respect, and freedom for all.

“Muslim women are my sisters and muslim men are my brothers.”

It is so desperately important that we stop the flow of hate towards Muslims and Muslim Americans, as we failed to stop its flow after 9/11. We are all family and we *cannot* treat each other as any less. *We will not.*

My name is Jessica Dickinson Goodman, and I will not live in hate.
Today we spent time with a family of 20 from Afghanistan and heard about their struggles and dreams. Despite the linguistic and cultural barriers, we shared love and laughter. We are so blessed by their friendship :-)
